Seventeen-year-old Kayla Chadwick has been missing for around two weeks now and her story is just starting to get headline attention, but is it too late? The young Fort Morgan, Colorado woman has garnered the attention of Nancy Grace, but with so few details in the case there might be little hope unless the people who know her come forward with details that can lend to the investigation.
It's reported that Kayla Chadwick disappeared after arguing with her boyfriend. However, the name of the young man or his age. The location of her disappearance, on the other hand, is quite rural so it's hard to imagine that she just wandered off and disappeared on her own free will. She's currently listed as an "endangered runaway," but as this source indicates, detectives are not ruling anything out regarding her being taken against her will.
So who is this boyfriend of hers? Is his name being kept from the media because he, like Kayla, is underage? Or is this a young adult who doesn't want his identity thrown into the court of public opinion? Both scenarios are understandable, but it would be interesting to get more information about this alleged fight the young couple allegedly had. What was the fight over? Although that may seem like too personal a question, the context of their quarrel could lend to a clue in finding out what happened to her.
Did this alleged fight between Chadwick and her unidentified boyfriend turn violent at all? Does this young man have a reputation among his peers? Knowing his identity could help in figuring out just what may have happened, and if this young man is in no way connected to her disappearance, it seems like other avenues could be investigated, such as the possibility of a stranger abduction, which does feel strange considering her rural location.
