The raspberry ketones Dr. Oz episode featured Oprah's favorite doctor along with his guest, Lisa Lynch, discussing the benefits of the health supplement. A report from one website notes that the segment referred to the pills as "Miracle Fat-Burner in a Bottle." The doctor said these particular supplements "can burn fat all over the body, are safe, are healthy, and have no side effects." Through the use of the hormone adponectin, these pills basically trick the body into thinking it's skinny, and help boost metabolism.Well once the famed doctor of Oprah Winfrey suggests something like this and gives his seal of approval, the people listen, and buy. Natural Products Insider website says in their recent article that the supplements used to cost as little as $12, but after the mention on Dr. Oz's show segment, they've been selling out at stores all over the place. The site goes on to say they contacted several suppliers of the raspberry ketones ingredients, with one saying they had decided to enter into the market and sell their own.
Of note, while Dr. Oz may have been quick to praise these as a helpful dietary aid, he also added that they should be used with diet and exercise. It seems many people out there want a quick fix, and while some pills or powders promise that, adding the healthy lifestyle always helps! Did you see this particular episode of "The Dr. Oz Show"? Do you think there will ever be a "miracle pill" created which can achieve weight loss?
