Crime lab evidence in the Sierra LaMar case has provided detectives new leads on which to investigate. This is perhaps some of the most positive news to come out in several days regarding the missing cheerleader, and on the one month anniversary of her disappearance, it couldn't have come any sooner.
The evidence that was tested included Sierra's "Juicy" brand bag, pants, and other items. However, detectives are not releasing the results of the crime lab's testing for the solidarity of the case.
"Due to the on-going investigative efforts in the case, no specific information will be released at this time pertaining to the results. The crime lab results, however, have provided investigators with additional leads to follow," Said Sgt. Jose Cardoza.
There is a lot of speculation surrounding this case, and it appears that now there will be even more concerning the items belonging to the young girl. Sierra LaMar has been missing for a month now, and all that is released to the public isn't enough to speculate one way or the other. Still, the detectives seem confident that this girl was abducted.
It's been called a "fruitless search," but the search for Sierra is continuing even though very little evidence has been found by anybody. Now it's in the hands of detectives who have forensic results to aid in the case. Hopefully the evidence is used wisely and the missing teen is found soon, or at least a suspect, so this case can have some kind of definitive direction.
