Occupy Wall Street groups all over the country, even in rural areas, have recently engaged in training sessions where they have allegedly been encouraged to infiltrate tea party groups in an effort to wreak havoc by creating gridlock, inciting "opposition" and engaging in confrontation. This report was from a 9/12 participant who attended one of these sessions and sent a letter to Glenn Beck, who read the letter on the air.
The letter-writer warned that the members of the training "have been specifically instructed to go to any and all tea party gatherings, rallies etc., and to be confrontational, and create havoc and disruption."
"I have received notes like this," Glenn said, "and I've heard from organizers all over the country. They are seeing an increase of this. This is exactly what Cass Sunstein said to do. We are about to see the real face of these guys. Starting May 1st is when it starts to roll. Whether May 1st is a big deal or not I don't know. It is coming this election."
As this charge was made, but has not been confirmed, one can only speculate whether the sender of the information was sincere. However, it would not be such a stretch to think that it could happen, as there was a "Crash the Tea Party" site set up by Oregon teacher Jason Levin and other documented infiltrators who carried controversial signs in the attempt to discredit the movement, before the historic 2010 election, where Republicans needed to claim 39 Democratic seats to retake the House and won more than 60.
Whether or not the Occupy Wall Street movement would bother itself with creating "havoc" at Tea Party rallies, etc., is anyone's guess, as one would think that their focus would be on their own goals. There would be a level of irony in a movement that relies heavily on freedom of speech to actively endorse drowning out opposing views.
Glenn sent this message to those in a 9/12 movement or a Tea Party who may be faced with an "infiltrator, "...it will be more important than ever for us to stick together and organize together, and be the opposite. You do not defeat hatred with hatred. You defeat hatred with love."

When are the right wing radicals are going to realize freedom of speech applies to everyone and not just them? Talk about hating the Constitution and all it stands for.
I don't support either side drowning out the other. If you can show me where the Tea Party is drowning out Occupy, I would be right there with you in condemning that.
Lets hope they were required to undergo some "potty training" during these training sessions. Even animals won't shit where they eat and sleep.
their parents' basements and get real jobs......
If these occupiers do half as good at doing something like I'm doing as they do running off their mouths and acting like hooligans, they'd be much better off.

An interesting piece from Trotsky from 1935, "He wrote "Your unregenerate capitalists will, of course, find no place for themselves in the new setup." He suggested that the 1% (although Trotsky called them the 5-10%) would be shipped to an island somewhere."
Bill Ayers wife, Bernadine Dohrn (who described herself as a "revolutionary communist") said regarding the Manson Family murder of Sharon Tate: In a speech during the December 1969 "War Council" meeting organized by the Weathermen, attended by about 400 people in Flint, Michigan, Dohrn said, "First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into the pig Tate's stomach! Wild!"
Sorry, Dan, I believe the FBI over these freaks. An interview with the agent who exposed the WU is here.
Yes, I am the author of that piece.
Regarding the FBI's credibility, I suggest you read the FOIA documents the agency was forced to release regarding COINTELPRO. They discuss manufacturing false quotations to discredit political dissenters a good number of times. The agent you cited infiltrated the Weather Underground as part of that effort. Another part consisted of having infiltrators attempt to convince other members to engage in violent attacks, so that these acts could be used against them in the eyes of the public.
So, I see no reason to consider the FBI agent credible, and I do not find the purported quote consistent with Ayers actions or publically stated views.
The Dohrn quote I've seen many times before. It's part of a joke mocking the violent image of the Weather Underground that folks like you are still pushing.
"It's part of a joke mocking the violent image of the Weather Underground that folks like you are still pushing." Well, there WAS actual violence, wasn't there? They bombed buildings. Do you think that is ok, Dan?
The whole book used to be online free somewhere, but I don't think it is anymore.
As far as bombing buildings, I don't know -- do you think it's okay to do things like dump napalm on naked seven-year-old Vietnamese girls?
"Do you think it's okay to do things like dump napalm on naked seven-year-old Vietnamese girls?" Nope. I do not. Did you know that there was no American involvement in that incident?
I imagine you are referring to Kim Phuc, the little nine year old Vietnamese girl running naked from the napalm strike near Trang Bang on 8 June 1972.
"Unfortunately the public never realized that no American had involvement in this incident near Trang Bang that burned Phan Thi Kim Phuc. The planes doing the bombing near the village were VNAF (South Vietnam Air Force) and were being flown by Vietnamese pilots in support of ARVN troops on the ground."
A bunch of idiots who cause trouble and get in people's way.
They have changed nothing and they never will.
Time for them to fold their tents.
