When is Mother's day 2012 holiday this year? That's the question on the minds of many sons, daughters, husbands, and others who celebrate the importance of their moms around the globe. It's a special day and planning ahead is usually a sound idea.
The Mother's day date is always on the second Sunday of each May, and in the year 2012 it will fall on May 13th. That's just about three weeks away, meaning many people will soon be scrambling to purchase flowers, cards, candy, and gifts for mom. It's been said in past years that billions of dollars are spent for gifts for this holiday, and it wouldn't be surprising if the number continues to increase each year.
Mothers are important in everyday life as we know it. Just a day ago, the International Mothers Hall of Fame unveiled its list of Top 10 Moms of 2012. Among those ranking on the list were First Lady Michelle Obama, actress Holly Robinson Peete, actress Reese Witherspoon, Ann Romney, and Victoria Beckham. Of course, most everyone else would probably rank their own moms above those 10 though!
So don't forget that Mother's Day 2012 will be here within three weeks from now. It's a very important day to commemorate the love, devotion, and many other positive attributes that mothers around the world have displayed for years. How will you be honoring your mom on this special day?
