Did anyone win the Powerball April 25, 2012? You bet they did! An unknown Pennsylvania Powerball winner matched all six Powerball winning numbers for Wednesday's enormous jackpot of $173,000,000! At least that's what the official Powerball website was announcing before the drawing as their "estimated" jackpot amount.

The game must not have generated as much as they thought it would for Wednesday's drawing because the actual jackpot amount ended up coming up a few dollars short—$172,700,000 to be exact. Then again, who's going to quibble over a mere $300,000? Certainly not the Pennsylvania lottery winner!

The April 25, 2012 Powerball winning numbers are 4, 25, 29, 34, 43, and the Powerball number is 29. The prizes didn't stop with the Pennsylvania Powerball jackpot winner either. There's plenty of money to spread around to all the lucky lottery winners in Wednesday's game.

The Pennsylvania Powerball winner bought their jackpot-winning ticket at The Newsstand at the Gallery, located at Ninth and Market Streets in Philadelphia, PA. According to PA Lottery officials, the store will also benefit for selling the winning ticket. Their bonus is a whopping $100,000. The jackpot winner can choose between the entire amount of $172,700,000 to be paid out in 30 annual payments, or a one-time lump-sum of $107,533,278. Both amounts are before taxes.

Not only did someone from Pennsylvania buy the jackpot-winning ticket, someone else from Pennsylvania also won a $2,000,000 prize! That Powerball Power Play winner bought their ticket at Giant Eagle, 105 Robertson St., West Newton, Westmoreland County, PA. It's a win-win for Giant Eagle as well. They'll get a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning ticket!

More April 25th Powerball Winners!

Two (1) Match 5 + 0 Power Play winners scored $2,000,000 each. The Powerball winners purchased their tickets in Louisiana and Pennsylvania. There were eight (8) additional second-tier lottery winners that matched five out of six Powerball winning numbers, but not the Powerball for $1,000,000. Unfortunately for them, they didn't spend the extra dollar for a Power Play ticket and will accept checks for just $1,000,000 each. Poor lottery winners! Can you imagine missing an extra $1,000,000 by just a dollar?
