A potential Cleveland, Ohio bridge bombing was foiled and the five men involved have been arrested. According to the FBI, there was no danger as the explosives were inoperable. That's very good news! It is good to read about potentially dangerous things that didn't actually happen.
The five men involved wanted to blow up a bridge over the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in the Brecksville area, approximately 15 miles south of downtown Cleveland, Ohio. It would be interesting to know why they decided on that particular bridge and that particular city.
The men involved in this Ohio bridge bombing are 25 through 35 years old and they were arrested Monday. It seems they wanted to interrupt interstate commerce. Blowing up a bridge would definitely interrupt something along with potentially injuring or killing innocent people.
The Ohio bridge bombing didn't happen and the bridge in Cleveland, Ohio is safe and sound and so are the people who might have been on that bridge if a bombing had actually taken place.
