The bodies of Jo Ann Bain and her eldest daughter are confirmed dead after they were dug up at a home in Mississippi. However, her two young daughters are still missing in the company of Adam Mayes, who is on the run from authorities. His whereabouts are unknown, and the youngest girls are in grave danger.
Yesterday the TBI dug up the property inhabited by Jo Ann Bain before her disappearance, but their findings, if any, have not been publicized. They have confirmed the two bodies as belonging to the missing mother and her 14-year-old daughter, acknowledging that the 12- and eight-year-old girls are in the company of this man.
Adam Mayes is described as being "like an uncle" to the children, which makes this apparent homicide and kidnapping all the more shocking (or is it?). His criminal record doesn't appear to be readily accessible, so there is no telling whether or not he's ever been involved in similar crimes. Nonetheless, the picture of the guy makes him look like a creeper, and it's a shame that these two children are now minus their sister and mother, if they're even still alive.
