Twelve-year-old Alexandra Bain and her eight-year-old sister Kyliyah Bain are still missing after nearly three weeks. FBI agents are currently preparing to continue the search for the two Tennessee girls and the man accused of kidnapping them as well as murdering their mother Jo Ann Bain and their 14-year-old sister. Adam Christopher Mayes is considered armed and dangerous and could be anywhere in the country right now as the clock continues ticking during this investigation.
The charges brought against Mayes' wife and mother have been revealed as well with the latest updates in this terrifying case. Thirty-year-old Teresa Mayes was charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and 65-year-old Mary Mayes was charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
The idea that Jo Ann Bain and her teen daughter were murdered the same day they were abducted seems to be prominent. So what about the two missing youngsters, and what about Adam Mayes for that matter?
There also doesn't appear to be a publicized motive for this crime, which is rather perplexing. Why did Adam Mayes, his wife and his mother all work together to commit such a heinous crime? Why did he take off with the two youngest children while his wife and mother stayed behind?
This whole story is just strange and it would be interesting to find out if this man has ever killed before this. The state of Tennessee is home to many missing and murdered women. Someone who could commit such a horrible act certainly has a criminal mind, and as long as he is free he has the opportunity to kill again.
