A video of Harvard athletes singing and dancing to "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen, uploaded by team member Conner Hulse, went viral, attracting nearly 700,000 hits in three days!
The video features Harvard baseball players Jon Smart, Steven Dill, Andrew Ferreira, Kyle Larrow, Joey Novak, Jeff Reynolds and Marcus Way, with a sleeping Jack Colton in the background (surely, he's never been more thankful for his nap timing!), all lip-synching and "dancing" to the catchy Carly Rae Jepsen breakout hit.
Surely his teammates were not banking on the fact that the video would go viral, especially given the potentially embarrassing nature of the video, but Connor Hulse saw the potential for web hits and ran with it!
.
What do you think of the Harvard athletes' "performance" of "Call Me Maybe"? Given the reputation of Ivy League schools as strict academic institutions, do you think that the video is a breath of fresh air? Or an embarrassing reflection on a reputable institution?
Or are you just paralyzed by the sheer volume of eye candy in the video?
