New Alaska Lake Monster Theory May Explain Loch Ness Monster Too

There is an Alaska lake monster at Lake Iliamna named Illie that is much like the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland. A biologist named Bruce Wright has come up with a theory that just could explain these intriguing creatures.

While these monsters have inspired all types of theories and ideas, Wright believes that they may be large Pacific sleeper sharks. Both the Alaska lake monster along with the Loch Ness Monster may be one of these unusually large creatures.

Of his theory, Wright said, "Certainly the size and the shape and the color seems to match a lot of the descriptions." If the sleeper shark survived in the lake, it would have no natural predators along with plenty of food, which would allow it to grow extra large.
