Claiming to be a Christian during his 2008 presidential campaign, Obama removed all doubt as to the fact he was far from it, according to DefendChristians.org, which is a ministry of the Christian anti-defamation commission.
"He claims his position was 'evolving' when it actually devolved back to a pre-Christian pagan view of human sexuality," the website pointed out.
They have a legitimate point, as every Christian familiar with the faith's biblical text the Holy Bible knows that 1 Corinthians 6:9 makes clear that homosexuals will not enter into the Kingdom of God.
"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders," the New International Version of the Holy Bible states.
So if Christianity affirms that homosexuality is a sin that can keep someone from Heaven's gate—and Obama claims he is a true Christian believer and not a Muslim, as some posited during the 2008 election—then what is he doing advocating same-sex marriage which is far more than a one-time homosexual encounter? It would be a lifestyle of sexual sin.
According to some of his detractors, and there are many, he's doing it for the money the homosexual community will raise on his behalf, so he can get into office again and make laws to aid the LGBT community's agenda for the nation.
Is that the job of the president? Of course not, as he's not supposed to represent special interest groups over all Americans. But the president is making no bones about doing that for three special interest groups this year: the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender group, blacks like the New Black Panthers and illegal Hispanic immigrants.
And the president needs all three groups in order to regain the White House, so he's favoring legislation and federal agency action to guarantee him all three.
But DefendChristian.org says that while the president claims he and his wife Michelle are "practicing Christians" and try to follow the Golden Rule (which isn't in the Holy Bible, by the way), they are instead affirming a rebellious lifestyle that God considers evil and expects real Christians to denounce as such.
Probably the greatest proof that the Christian website offers to support this position can be found by viewing the recent data on the scourge of HIV and AIDS.
President Obama's alleged loving support for his fellow mankind will relegate homosexuals (the black ones especially) to the potential future of a staggering statistic, according to the CDC: A six times greater possibility of contracting AIDS through the HIV virus than their white male counterpart.
How's that for the love of Christ?
Now that makes the Christians who oppose same-sex marriage the more compassionate supporter of gays than the president who wants to give them free license to practice the sexual sin with the deathly consequences—and all just so he can make a buck and use them at the polls. Isn't that disgusting?

And to say that President Obama and his wife are not Christian because they support gay marriage is wrong. If you are going to highlight one or two scriptures to support your views, then, you must abide by them all. And the word of God clearly says for us to not call unclean which he has made clean. Acts 10:14 - But, don't stop there, read Acts 10:28, too. If they say they are Christian, then, they are.
And whether a gay person makes it into heaven is purely up to God. What does that have to do with laws on earth? Again, we have to abide all scriptures, and we are not to stand in way of sinners. Psa 1:1. If a person chooses to live outside of the teachings of our Lord, then, that is their choice to make. We should not expect there to be laws that reflect the word of God and the teachings of Christ.
And who is to say that a person who is living the gay lifestyle won't repent and enter into heaven? That, again, is up to God. Christians must remember that the rights that you hinder today, just might hinder your own tomorrow. The best way to protest anything is to not engage in that activity yourself.
And 1 Cor 6 goes on to say in verse 11 - And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Don't use one scripture to make your point, but, read and study the whole word of God for complete understanding.
But since you opened the door, I'll give you some scriptures to read yourself, which might help you come to Christ--or grow up in the faith if you claim it, since you are not what I'd call a mature Christian (if one at all) by what you've said.
Acts 10:14 isn't about homosexuality; it's about Jesus telling Peter he was able to eat any type of meat, despite the Old Testament Leviticus command not to years earlier.
How in the world you think that applies to homosexuality just illustrates how little you know about scripture.
In Acts 10:28, Jesus isn't condoning impure lifestyles because he tells us to love sinners, Gloria. He tells us to look at them with His eyes: compassion but concern. Obama isn't concerned about the gays that will go to hell for continuing on in their destructive lifestyles. Christians who try to warn them about it are, however.
Standing in the way of sinners, mentioned in Psalm 1:1 isn't saying don't attempt to tell them about their sin. That verse, when properly taking in context, is saying don't participate with sinners in their sins. That's why it starts out saying "Blessed is the one who does not walk in the step with the wicked." And it follows both verse sections with a further admonition that Christians not align themselves with anyone who mocks Christ or His Word.
About a person possibly repenting and entering into heaven. Anyone and I mean ANYONE that repents of their homosexual sin--or any other of the numerous sins in the Bible--and accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior will go to heaven.
And that, truly, is what all Christians want for the homosexuals in their midst. We don't hate them; we have compassion for the destruction such a lifestyle will bring to their life.
It's reprehensible that the president cares so little for the homosexual community that he would play them for four more years in office. That's disgusting to me by a man who claims the name of Christ. And it should be to you too, if you knew God.
By the way, the rights I enjoy as a Christian are not given to me by mankind. God set those from the foundation of the earth. And they will remain until he takes them away. Of that I'm confident. So I'm not worried, as I know the day will come when the Anti-Christ will one day take all citizens' rights away--including yours.
The only Bible verse you accurately portrayed in your post above is the last one, as it does say that some Christian believers now used to be homosexuals. And that is so true. Thank God they repented and now attempt to lead others out of the terrible bondage.
You can find information on one of them at the Midday Connection website on Moody Radio, by the way. But he's not the only one. And the Christian community loves and supports the prior homosexuals who repented of their immoral lifestyles...just like we do any other type of sinner who repents.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life."
Luke 5:32: "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
1 Timothy 9-10, "We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their mothers or fathers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers--and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine."
"Other faiths have the Golden Rule in negative form: “Don’t do to others what you wouldn’t want done to you.” How is Jesus’ command more challenging in Matt. 7:12?
Well, the Bible doesn't call it the Golden Rule, for one thing. And the "Don't do to others" line isn't part of Matt. 7:12.
Instead, the biblical command is "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you." That doesn't mean don't help someone you love to keep making bad decisions that will harm them or society.
If you tried to apply the Golden Rule to an alcoholic getting behind the wheel of a car when he is drunk, what would happen? Would you want him to remove you from getting behind the wheel in a similar situation, so you couldn't drive and possible hit and kill another driver?
That's how Matt 7:12 should be viewed. It shouldn't be viewed as those who would use it to advocate sin would have us do. They want to misuse God's own Word to support evil that His Word clearly says is sin.
Many who advocate homosexual lifestyles despite a clear teaching in scripture against it--and they attempt to use the Golden Rule as a tool to do so, when it was never meant in that way, the Christian knows that the greatest rule is to love God with all their heart, mind and soul, which means obeying his laws, which include not participating in sins like homosexual behavior.
Thanks for reading, by the way,
