After missing girls Alexandra and Kyliyah Bain have been located safely, and suspect Adam Mayes took his own life, there appear to be more updates in this tragic case. It's being reported that four more arrests have resulted from the murders of Jo Ann Bain and her 14-year-old daughter and abduction of the slain Tennessee woman's surviving daughters.
So here's the tally so far: The wife and mother of Adam Mayes were arrested just days before Adam killed himself, allowing the two missing girls to escape to safety. Now, four more people -- neighbors of the Mississippi man. Had Adam not killed himself, that would make this a total of seven people so far involved in the slaying of two women and the abduction of two girls. So how deep does this really go?
If there are already four neighbors involved in this horrendous case, how many more people could have possibly known or somehow been connected to this string of crimes? The four people who have been arrested included a married couple with the adult son of the husband. Authorities are not saying how they were connected.
