The mother of missing child Isabel Celis spoke to a Tuscon news affiliate in defense of her husband, who has been barred from living in the home with his family. Rebecca Celis addressed the public during a vigil held in the missing 6-year-old girl's honor refuting some of the speculation against Sergio Celis over the course of this case.
"My husband loves those boys, loves my daughter," said Rebecca Celis, "He's a great husband, a great father to the boys and to Isabel. At the end of the day when Isabel comes home, everybody's questions will be answered."
It would be interesting to see what kind of analysis comes up from the words she used to express her sentiments regarding her missing daughter and the displacement of her husband. Meanwhile, Isabel Celis is still missing and there haven't appeared to be many investigative updates in the case. Rebecca acknowledges that everybody has questions, and she's absolutely right in that. There haven't been any answers in this case as far as it seems, but the details that do leak through the media seem to be quite indicative of more than an average missing child's case.
