Diane Tran is working two jobs, a part-time job and a full-time job. She is also in advanced dual credit classes such as AP Spanish, College Algebra, and advanced history and English classes. The young woman is also essentially on her own, as her parents divorced and both moved away from her. Tran lives with the family who owns one of the businesses that employs her.
"She goes from job to job from school. She stays up until 7:00 in the morning doing her homework," said a classmate.
The video below shows the young student crying as she talks to reporters. It's actually heartbreaking to see this young ambitious woman breaking down before the eyes of viewers who are literally watching the potential beginnings of an emotional and mental breakdown. The judge who had her arrested, for missing more than 10 days in a six-month period, obviously holds no regard for the promising bright students of his state. This young woman is neck-deep in adversity, and instead of becoming a statistic, she is pushing forward with tenacity and determination. Because of that, she has a criminal record all because she is so exhausted sometimes that she can't get out of bed.
Shame on you, judge. Just shame on you.

Let's hope some colleges offer her full scholarships reading about this. What college wouldn't want a hardworking student like this?
