George Zimmerman, accused of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, has been ordered to return to jail within 48 hours as his bond has been revoked. That truly doesn't come as much of a shock to those who have been watching this case with eagle eyes. On the other hand, it seems like some people are going to be angry that the NRA's golden calf is apparently in more trouble now.
Why was his bond revoked? Well, it's apparent that he and his wife lied about some things during his April bond hearing that led to his release. It was an injustice that the man went so long without being arrested, and that was further inflamed when he walked right out of jail on bond. Since his release George Zimmerman hasn't been doing his best to stay on the good side of the judge. His family claimed to not have any money during his bond hearing, but come to find out he made around a quarter of a million dollars on his pandering website. Liar!
He and his wife lied about the fact that he has a passport, making it easy for him to flee the United States while awaiting trial. That makes him a high flight risk as it is, so refusing to declare his passport during his bond hearing only further adds to the risk that he may leave the country to avoid prosecution. Not only did they lie about this passport, but it's revealed that this is a second passport, which Zimmerman obtained two weeks after killing Trayvon Martin. So that goes to show that George Zimmerman is a coward. He also might very well be a bigot, which could have led to why he shot Trayvon Martin.
Do you think Zimmerman and his family lied about their finances and his passport for ulterior reasons? Do you think he was intending on cashing out and hitching a plane out of the United States? If so, he'd probably end up on some most wanted list and things would just get a helluva lot worse for him. It also doesn't look good for those people who support him. You know, the NRA and fans of the KKK.

Double jeopardy is subject to the dual sovereignty doctrine. This doctrine states that a person can be tried for the same crime twice if he or she is being tried by more than one distinct, sovereign government. This means that a person could be tried by the federal government and by a state government for the same crime. Both entities are distinctly sovereign units that have their own sets of laws and their power derived from different sets of people. No one, however, can be tried twice by the same state, or twice by the federal government.
The petition addresses the DOJ policy that guides them in deciding whether or not to bring federal charges against someone after a person has already been tried by a state.

Or go to change.org and search for BREUER
and I find that curiously refreshing.
that's not bright
Otherwise, move somewhere super liberal where they give murderers hugs and medication instead of making them face justice.
and then avoid ever becoming a victim of crime, seeing as though your ideal world would have murderers absconding and living free in other areas where they can (and statistically will) kill again.
derp. lol.
Trouble is, what they are doing to Zimmerman is mob rule, the search for justice went out al ong time ago with race baiters like Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and even Erich Holder and Obama himself.
IMHO, until I see otherwise, I believe Zimmerman acted in self defense.
No you didn't. I've always been conservative when it comes to our criminal justice system.
You'd know that if you paid attention. :P
