The Miami Cannibal's girlfriend has hired Gloria Allred, who is known as the "celebrity attorney." The fact that Allred isn't talkingÂ—when she normally does a lot of it for the camerasÂ—has some speculating why the woman tied to the flesh-eating man would hire her in the first place.

People typically don't hire an attorney casually or unnecessarily, as who wants to pay for a service that they don't really need? And few would pay top dollar for such a service when it isn't really required, so it is obvious Gloria Allred has a new client for a specific reason. And that it is somehow connected to the MacArthur Causeway case.

Being a celebrity attorney known for her controversial clients, Allred is being especially mum about the reason she has been retained by this woman, who the Daily Mail reports was the same woman Rudy Eugene spent his final night with before he attacked Ronald Poppo.

And it seems so unlikely that the girlfriend of a down-and-out man like Eugene would ever hire someone like AllredÂ—unless there is some type of expected financial deal in the works, of course.

Two logical possibilities, therefore, come to mind: the "Causeway Cannibal" girlfriend wants Allred to represent her in a lucrative deal forged with the creative powers in Hollywood, or she wants a high-profile attorney for when the Miami-Dade Police start tightening the net around her (if she played a role in whatever Rudy Eugene may have taken).

And whatever that chemical was (if there was one) is going to be the topic of conversation for a long, long time. And Hollywood does love a story with all kinds of twists and turns, and the MacArthur Causeway case definitely has those.

Law enforcement in Miami aren't talking about the case investigation publicly at this point, but the fact that Gloria Allred has confirmed in the past two days that she is representing the Miami Cannibal's girlfriend indicates another bombshell in the flesh-chewing story is coming. And it is coming relatively soon.
