Tot mom Casey Anthony has been ordered to disclose the source of her money since she's been allegedly searching for property in Costa Rica. She claims to be broke, without a job and has to rely on others to keep her safe from the public eye, so where is she getting all of this money?
In the civil defamation trial filed by the woman she falsely accused of kidnapping her daughter, it appears that the Florida courts are interested in where she's getting her cash as well. In fact, she is being required to disclose every her finances including receipts and bank account statements. She is also required to disclose the information on any "secret" donors she may be getting money from to take care of herself and shop for property.
It also seems that if she doesn't comply or if she is caught being dishonest, she could be jailed for perjury. Knowing that Casey Anthony is a pathological liar, even a convicted liar, it's probably safe to say that she might be teetering right on that dangerous line.
Do you think Casey will screw up what ridiculously good luck she's had over the past year and lie under oath? She wouldn't even speak during her last trial, if she did she'd totally perjure herself; but she will be ordered to participate in this trial, so the time for freedom might just be running out for her.

Double jeopardy is subject the dual sovereignty doctrine. It states that a person can be tried for the same crime twice if he or she is being tried by more than one distinct, sovereign government. A person can be tried by the federal government and by a state government for the same crime. Both entities are distinctly sovereign units that have their own sets of laws and their power derived from different sets of people.
The petition addresses the DOJ policy that guides them in deciding whether or not to bring federal charges against someone after a person has already been tried by a state.

Come on, the feds need to investigate this crime -
just because a jury of idiots couldn't see the truth in front of them ('I was all over the place, I didn't know where I was' Juror Ford), doesn't mean she should get away with murder.
She needs to pay Zenaida Gonzalez for what she did to her and her children, Texas EquuSearch for what she put them through, and Roy Kronk for defamation ('morally bankrupt' in Baez' words).
And most of all, she needs to pay for what she did to her own baby.

Nothing would surprise me. Maybe she will try and blame her father too... and say she was his puppet and he made her lips move when she said Ms Gonzales was the nanny...
