The UP Board 12th results 2012 were recently declared online for students who took the exams. These are the UP Board intermediate results which are currently available, and not the High School exam results.
The acronym UP stands for Uttar Pradesh. In the traditional education system of India, students go to 10 years of school and take a High School exam (Class X), and then complete two more years of school. This is followed by the Class XII or 12th Intermediate Examination.
The website India Today reports that the Uttar Pradesh 12th results were made available on June 5th for students online. To see these exam scores, students must go to the Uttar Pradesh results page and select their particular results.
Once there, students will need to select their district and enter a seven digit roll number, then press "Submit" to get results for the intermediate (XII) examination.
As for the UP Board High School Class X results, those are expected to be released just a day from now on June 8th. However, it's important to note that the site says "likely to be announced," meaning there's always the possibility there could be a delay. Hopefully for the sake of students they will arrive on time, so students can plan for their next steps in their educations or career paths.
