In more weird body parts news across the country, a pair of lungs is believed to have been found just lying on a sidewalk in South Los Angeles on Avalon Boulevard on Sunday night at 8:30 p.m.
Sgt. Robert Dean of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office called in the coroner to see if the remains found were even human or not, with the LA Times reporting him saying that, "We don't know what they are. It's really weird."
It's highly likely that the poor woman who happened upon the fleshy parts might never dare to venture onto the city's streets for a stroll again. And who could blame her?
In light of all the zombie and cannibal talk of late, finding a pair of human lungs on the sidewalk in plain view in LA would be taking the body part talk to a whole new level of depraved.
And it's already at the "beyond strange" now, what with the dismemberment body parts killing in Canada allegedly by Luka Rocco Magnotta, and the Miami cannibalistic acts of Rudy Eugene.
Hopefully police will determine that this case is one in which an animal is the victim. But even then one has to wonder why only the lungs were all that was left in an animal on animal attack?

This is gang work, setting a new standard, for intimidation purposes.
