Toddler Thrown From an SUV During Police Chase...

A toddler thrown from an SUV during a police chase has managed to escape virtually unharmed. The harrowing incident was caught on a police dashboard camera. The 18-month-old little girl is a walking miracle.

Police in Lubbock, Texas were in pursuit of a group of teens that had just robbed a woman at gunpoint in a parking lot. The child's teen parents and two other teens were in the SUV when it rolled. During the rollover, the little girl was launched through a window and landed on a paved street. Somehow, the vehicle managed to land upright and was still moving forward.

The police dash camera reveals the ejected precious cargo struggling to stand up. Somehow, the toddler stands up on wobbly legs, and chases after the moving vehicle. Out of nowhere, a 16-year-old teen girl, who has been identified as the child's mother, scoops up the baby and takes off on foot. The child's 17-year-old father who was driving, another 16-year-old and a 14-year-old were all caught and taken into custody.

The teens have been charged a range of charges including unauthorized use of a vehicle, injury to a child, aggravated robbery, organized crime and evading police. These teen parents are young, but they seriously thought it was okay to drag their baby on an armed robbery? They couldn't even buckle the child into a car seat!

Hopefully, these little convicts are never given the opportunity to see that poor child again. They don't deserve her. Thankfully, the toddler thrown from an SUV in Texas is doing just fine and being cared for by family members.

This was a very sad happening but I'm glad the child survived. This week a police officer in our area (Flint, MI) was dragged behind a car for 200 feet at 55 MPH by a criminal. Luckily, the officer survived. Then on the street my daughter and grandkids live on, there was a shoot out between police and 3 criminals. People were told to stay locked in their houses and away from windows and 7 police departments and tracking dogs searched the neighborhood for the 3 men. Cars were told not to come into the area. It was after midnight and unfortunately, my daughter had just gotten out of the hospital from giving birth by c-section to baby twins. She had to go out at that late time to pick up her boyfriend from work and to drive to near where we live (suburbs) to go to an all night pharmacy to get her pain medicine. Luckily, by the time she went home, the police had caught the 3 criminals. I had warned my grandkids to stay in the house with doors locked while their mom was gone (and not to choose that time to take the dogs out to relieve themselves). Flint that we live close to and work in is the #1 most dangerous and violent city in the US and its like a war zone--at least one person is shot each day and sometimes more than one, plus the stabbings, armed robberies, rapes, home invasions, B & E's, carjackings, and homes shot into while occupied. Flint also has more arson fires than any city in the US. Flint has become worse than Detroit, that is #2 most violent and dangerous city in the US. Crime is everywhere and its so disgusting and frightening. Today a 16 year old murderer who killed a 73 year old woman escaped from police custody while wearing shackles and handcuffs and he either stole a van or was picked up in a stolen van with improper plates. He hasn't been caught yet and is on the loose somewhere in our area. Last week a 15 year old shot and killed a 14 year old boy in a local public park. When will this stuff ever end?

Oh my! That is awful and terribly sad. I am very fortunate to live in a very rural area where crime, especially violent crime, is verrrrrry rare.
