A bullied bus monitor grandma has gotten a way out of her Middle school student bus abuse thanks to donations pouring in from the outraged that watch the YouTube video recording.
Karen Huff Klein, 68, takes verbal abuse that would make Alec Baldwin do more than throw a punch or run over a reporter's foot with his mountain bike. And she takes it from Athena Middle School students in Greece, N.Y.
Yeah, that's right, this is middle school-aged children using profanity at a woman tasked with sitting on the bus to make sure order is kept.
This elderly grandma is having the last laugh, however, since outraged viewers have donated as much as $121,071 on Thursday for the bullied bus monitor, so she can take a vacation from the likes of those she has to supervise daily each work day.
The school, however, is slower to take action against the profanity-laced attacks from their students to their elderly bus monitor. And that, probably as much as the abuse itself, is what is most disturbing. Thank goodness that Karen Huff Klein wears a hearing aid.
