Warren Jeffs is running his cult into the ground. His latest order lifts the sex ban he put into effect last year but only for 15 specific men. Now these 15 men aren't just to have sex with their wives but all women in the cult. You see, these 15 men are to father all future babies for the Fundamentalist Latter-Day Saints Church. You can only imagine how the other men in the church feel. How would you feel if you were told you couldn't sleep with your wife but that another man could and you had to continue to support and provide for her and another man's child?
The 10,000 remaining followers of Jeffs are slowly dwindling and orders like this one will continue to run his group into the ground. Warren Jeffs is currently sitting in prison at the Polunsky Unit near Palestine, Texas. Why he is being allowed to issue orders from prison is a mystery. With the amount of pain he has caused to an unknown number of young girls, he should not be allowed any contact with any member of his supposed church.
Followers of this man need to get a clue quickly. Jeffs declared all marriages void until he could return to "seal" them. How is a man who is 56 years old and serving a 130-year prison term ever come back to perform any kind of ceremony or provide any amount of service to his followers? Time for a mental health reality check.
