The Westboro Baptist Church is apparently trying to assimilate wannabe politicians, which isn't a huge threat, but a present one nonetheless. Jack Wu, a Kansas School Board hopeful, is a member of the notorious "God Hates Fags" hate group (disguised as a church), so Kansas residents should be warned. Wu is better known for being against the teaching of evolution sciences in schools -- which shows that the man must not have ever taken a science course in his life. Now he's open about being affiliated with these zealots. He must not care about his career at all -- either that or Kansas residents don't value their children's education.
Look, some of the members of the Westboro Baptist Church may not be all that bad. There is hope for the younger generation in the event that Fred Phelps finally passes away of old age like he should have already done like a decade ago. Still, this is a hate group, and hate groups should not be associated with public school board members or students. Jack Wu is bad news, even if he does claim that he's not yet a baptised member of the group.

As is pointed out in the article, neither a bigot, nor a racist, nor a homophobic, nor a person who harbors any discriminatory feeling of any kind, has any business working within the public school system. This is especially true if the extremist is to be employed in a leadership or oversight capacity, a position such as Mr. Wu is trying to win in the local election.
"Buyer Beware" should be a subtitle under Mr. Wu's name on the ballot sheet.
Westboro Baptist Church ranks right next to the KKK. Both groups are despicable.
