Carnel Chamberlain, age four, was burned and then buried beneath the porch of the home inhabited by his mother and her former boyfriend. The latest update in this tragic case comes with the revelation of the extensive criminal past of the person who may be responsible for the child's death. Anthony Bennett, 20, has been charged with abusing the child, but not with the murder. It seems that Bennett has quite the criminal history that displays a pattern of sociopathic behavior and disregard for police authority and the law.
Since the age of 17 years old, Anthony Bennett has been in trouble over seven times. That is only a span of three years. It's reported that he has never followed through with court order, including two probation violations just this year. This guy is a menace to society that has a violent past of assault and battery, family violence, obstructing arrest and fleeing and eluding police. This is a sociopath who is accused of abusing 4-year-old Carnel Chamberlain--event witnessed by the child's mother.
What's confusing is that prosecutors haven't indicated that there will be charges aside from the charges of child abuse he has already been given in this case. These charges dole out a maximum of five years in prison, which is nowhere near enough to justify the death of this child. Could they be drawing up charges against the mother as well?
Jaimee Chamberlain knew about the abuse and witnessed this violent scumbag beat and choke the 4-year-old boy. Yet she felt it was necessary to leave the child alone with him while she left to wait tables and hang out with friends. Something interesting has come up in regards to the woman having a job. You see, her own brother acknowledges that Jaimee and Bennett received thousands of dollars in funds while living on the reservation. Technically, neither one of them needed to work. There is a problem here, when trash like this can live off reservation and federal funds, but that is a different story altogether.
Jaimee Chamberlain herself seems to be a bit of a sociopath much like her former boyfriend. Her brother is sharing a petition on Change.Org for the arrest of his own sister in connection to his nephew's death. He has posted on his Facebook page the behavior displayed by Chamberlain in the days after Carnel's untimely death. She has been out smoking, drinking and having a great time with friends and her son's burned remains are still fresh. That's downright despicable, especially considering she knew damn good and well that her flesh and blood was being tortured by the man. Do you think she should face charges?
