The Taliban publicly executed an Afghan woman for adultery triggering outrage. In fact, a manhunt is underway for those responsible for this heinous murder.
Afghan President 
Hamid Karzai has ordered the arrest of everybody involved in the Afghan woman's execution. Footage of the execution show men firing on the woman nine times while the crowd cheers her demise.
While this execution is horrible, it is made even worse because officials believe that the true reason she was murdered is because two Taliban men had an argument over her, so to save the situation, they accused her of adultery and executed her in the village of Qimchok. Unbelievable!
Parwan province Gov. Abdul Basir Salangi said, the Taliban men "faked a court to decide about the fate of this woman and in one hour, they executed the woman."
After the Afghan woman was executed, the two Taliban commanders were killed by another Taliban commander. Even so, the governor wants everybody involved arrested.
This execution serves to highlight the brutality that women face in Afghanistan. Many are executed while others are abused. It is not okay for these women to have so few rights. This type of behavior has to stop.

Tough reality- Most males in Afghanistan really are not that upset when women are murdered for breaches of the patriarchal code. It's horrible, by our standards. But for them, they believe that they are acting on the will of Allah- ignoring the fact that what they are celebrating is really just patriarchal tribalism. Though they cloak themselves in Wahhabi Islam, it's really not about Islam at all.
