A UFO sighting in the remote town of Heilongjiang, China has locals and government authorities baffled, and worried. The picture below shows the characteristics of what looks like a missile launch in an area of China with no such facilities. What is it?
The sighting was caught on camera by a professional photographer filming a group of visitors to a remote area near the Phoenix Mountains in China. Noticing the cloud in the distance, he snapped this photo.

In it, the unidentified flying object looks like a missile launch, of the kind usually seen from a submarine or a ship at sea. There is no launch facility in the area, and, naturally the photographer was alarmed.
The group contacted local authorities who initiated an investigation of the UFO sighting, but no word yet on what they've found out.
The object does not resemble a lens flare, as the tail of the plume is obviously extended into the surrounding mountainside. It doesn't look like any kind of aircraft, other than a missile. But launched from where?
What do you think?
