Lennox The Dog Makes Belfast Regret Actions as...

Lennox the dog may have been killed but the Irish city of Belfast is surely regretting its actions after a well-known and respected celebrity dog trainer said she was "threatened" by the Belfast City Council (BCC) for speaking out in support of the condemned dog.

Apparently, the murder of sweet Len will not be forgotten and those responsible will payÂ—most likely with their jobs.

Though he was needlessly killed on Wednesday, July, 11, there are many people who still think about him everyday and don't want the same fate to befall another innocent dog.

In the meantime, Animal Planet dog trainer Victoria Stilwell, star of the popular show It's Me or The Dog, has spoken out and said that she was "threatened" by the BCC over her support of Lennox and her questioning of the supposed "expert" in the case.

"Yes, the BCC's 'expert' did try to sue me for speaking out against him and questioning his credentials, and yes he did expect money from me to settle the dispute," Victoria wrote on her Facebook page.

So it's OK for the council to threaten people who wanted to save Len but not for people to threaten those who murdered him without a care in the world?

Do you think there will ever be justice for this innocent dog who died a martyr and never knew what happened to his family?

Cross your fingers and wish for something to break in the case so that Lennox can get the justice he deserves.

Reading this today just made my day worse. I hope none of those council people had any pets. This afternoon we had to put down our 14 year old Boston Terrier who had been with us since birth. And it hurt like heck. Our dogs ARE our children. Hogzilla, please give your pets to someone who CARES about them. The only pet you should have is a pet rock.

The BCC are a bunch of liars and murderers. They have consistently made excuses for their actions by LYING about Lennox' breed, behavior, etc. They've had the nerve to claim they never want to kill an animal when they went out of their way to have Lennox killed. They could have sent him out of the country where he would be safe, but no, their arrogance and lack of humanity prevailed. I truly believe Lennox was dead long before they say he was,either because they'd already killed him or their mistreatment and lack of care made him so sick he died (the last pictures of him show how bad it was). The BCC needs to be held accountable for what they've done.

Good article, but please, the island of Ireland is comprised of two distinct countries. The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland (part of the UK). Belfast is in Northern Ireland.
The Republic is taking a lot of grief from ignorant people writing about a place that they know nothing about.
