Aurora Shooter James Holmes' Profile Found on...

More details are emerging about James Holmes, the man responsible for killing 12 people in the Aurora, Colorado shooting that took place during a showing of The Dark Knight Rises.

It now appears as though Holmes created a profile on the sex website Adult Friend Finder. TMZ discovered the profile and reports that

it is being investigated by authorities.

The profile's authenticity hasn't been verified, but it was created on July 5 and last accessed sometime during the last three days. It features a photo of Holmes with the same dyed red hair he had when he was captured by police.

Holmes went by the screen name classicjimbo on Adult Friend Finder, revealing that he was looking for relationships with "Women, Couples (man and woman), Groups or Couples (2 women)." The most disturbing part of his profile has to be the line, "Will you visit me in prison?"

So it definitely seems as though James Holmes was planning on ending up in jail, not committing suicide like so many other mass shooters have done.

There have been reports that Holmes called himself the Joker when police apprehended him, so it seems more and more like Holmes is delusional - perhaps he's a fanboy that took his admiration of a Batman villain way too far, planning his shooting at The Dark Knight Rises screening for weeks. Holmes was probably also a very lonely man since he was using a sex website to look for some form of companionship, and perhaps he really was hoping to find someone who would visit him in prison.

James probably didn't kill himself because he wants to be alive to enjoy basking in the attention he's getting for what he did, and maybe he's hoping that the mass murder will actually win him some sadistic admirers -- it's possible that he thought that he'd have a better chance at having a relationship with the type of person who communicates with death row inmates than he would with a normal person.

It's hard to know exactly just who Holmes was based on what little information is available, but it's obvious that he was a very disturbed individual who deserves no sympathy no matter what his motives for mass murder were.

I wonder if it will come out that he is bipolar or something. It seems like a bipolar 1 (off his meds) kinda thing to do. I say this because I am bipolar 1 with psychotic ideations and when I'm off my meds I can be very hateful and wanting to kill others for their ways of being, or not being. So I know how these things can be. have you read/heard anything about his mental state yet?

That's probably something that will come out sooner or later, but that's a good question. I've known unmedicated bipolar people, and they are scary.
