The female suspect in the murder of Jaren Lockhart knows a thing or two about dismembered women, and officials are fully aware of this. Perhaps that's why they've laid more unrelated charges against her to keep her from walking out of police custody before this case is fully investigated. This investigation is crawling at a snail's pace, but a Louisiana judge knows what's best for those involved. That's why Margaret Sanchez is facing new charges of harboring sex offender Terry Speaks -- the other suspect in Lockhart's slaying.
Margaret Sanchez won't be released from jail anytime soon, and that's something she undoubtedly deserves for knowingly harboring absconded sex offender Terry Speaks. This also gives her plenty of time to reconsider her uncooperative position in the investigation into the murder/dismemberment of Jaren Lockhart. She should feel especially compelled to tell the truth of what happened since police, and the public, are keen on her involvement with another dismembered woman from 2005. She was friends with both the suspect and the victim in this seven-year-old case and she even appeared on an episode of ABC's Final Witness. The video can be watched here in its entirety.
Authorities believe that Sanchez and Speaks knew Lockhart, and that all three of them worked around one another in the French Quarter -- which is also the setting of the horrible murder and dismemberment of her friend from 2005. Is there any possibility that these two murders are connected? Could Sanchez have had inside knowledge of her own friend's death from 2005, leading to her involvement in this 2012 murder and dismemberment?
