A glowing UFO light shocked visitors to Tuckahoe State Park in Maryland last month, but military helicopters seemed to scare off the strange aerial craft.
The incident, some of which was recorded on film, occurred at about 11 p.m. on June 29. According to a witness, an orange object hovered in the air for a while, then vanished into space. This witness claims three black helicopters observed the event, and remained in the vicinity for another four hours.
The footage, which can be viewed here, is very compelling. Hopefully, the government knows what this craft was. It wasn't a satellite or weather balloon, that's for sure.
Considering the proximity of the park to Washington, D.C., and a myriad of military installations, including the Naval Academy, the sighting raises interesting questions. By the way, there is always a great deal of UFO activity surrounding Andrews Air Force Base, about an hour-and-a-half away.
Was this UFO really a super secret aircraft developed by the United States government? Likely, the public will never learn the truth about the anomalous encounter.
