Corrie Lynn Rice, from Stafford County, Virginia hasn't been seen since July 24th. She is 17 years old, 5'4", 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white hoodie and blue jeans.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has listed Rice as an endangered runaway, meaning she left on her own accord, into a dangerous situation, rather than laying low at a friends house. This could mean she encountered a man on the internet or trusted the wrong person. Did she fight with her parents and they caused her harm? Did she have a drug problem? A "bad" boyfriend? Does she have some sort of mental impairment? The speculation could go on and on until she is found.
Surely her online accounts and cell phone activities are being investigated to see if they can find anything on the possible whereabouts of the teenager. Ah, teenagers thinking they know everything and can handle every situation. Isn't growing up wonderful?
On one hand, she is 17 and probably capable of making most decisions on her own. On the other hand, she is 17 and, technically, still a missing child.
Not many details have been released, but hope for the safe return of Corrie Lynn Rice.
