'Close Encounters' UFO Filmed in California (Video)

An incredible UFO video has been posted to YouTube which looks remarkably like the kind of mothership at the center of the movie Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. It's possibly a fake. But, if not...

The video plays a short clip of an unidentified flying object hovering in the skies somewhere over California. The channel doesn't list any other information, but the images speak for themselves.

In the clip, a brightly lit object, which looks circular and massive, is shining an array of bright, amber lights from the center of its hull. A ring of white lights encircle the craft's shell all around.

Suddenly, all the lights wink out. The clip is played twice more, with varying levels of zoomed-in closeup views, but no less dramatic.

Not being an expert at evaluating video images makes it hard to conclude if this is real or just another hoax. But it certainly recalls all the most dramatic elements of the most famous UFO sightings from an extensive movie history of the subject.

If it is faked, it's really well done.
