Ever heard of a "road UFO" before? It's apparently a new kind of sighting, but obeys many of the same rules for traditional unidentified flying objects.
First, it has to be unusual and distinctive from other vehicles traveling in the same way and area. Second, it should not have been seen before with any regularity. And third, it should produce a visceral reaction along the lines of, "what the heck is that thing?"

In the video below, all three parameters are met, just grounded to the Earth rather than zooming through the skies.
As a startled witness catches the action on a camcorder while driving (very dangerous) a vehicle, traveling at near highway speed, hugs the slow lane on a busy freeway.
Other drivers, not very concerned it seems, zip in an out in front of it, perhaps with a wry smile as they zoom past. Then, like many another UFO before it, the vehicle makes a strange move.
It zips into the fast lane and gets out in front of the traffic on its way to who knows where.
Of course, this looks like an elaborate joke, and one that could easily lead to an accident. How long until a traffic cop pulls it over for a ticket?
But, at the very least, the incident may just coin a new acronym:
"Honey! I just saw an Unidentified Driving Object!"
(Cue Twilight Zone theme song...)
Here's the video:
