Cousins Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 10, and Elizabeth Collins, 9, of Evansdale, Iowa, have been missing for nearly a month. They were last seen leaving their grandmother's house to go on a bike ride on July 13th. Their bikes and a purse belonging to Elizabeth were found near Meyers Lake later that same afternoon, but sadly, no girls.
Tips have been flooding in, sometimes upward of 40 per day, but so far nothing leading directly to the girls. Some of the tips seem unnecessary, as there is not enough information given to police for them to follow up on.
Law enforcement continues to encourage tips to be reported, of course. How else are they going to find them? Clearly the person responsible for their disappearance isn't going to come forward with them, and they aren't just hiding out.
Where could these missing little girls be? Did their parents past come back to bite, with Lyric and Elizabeth as the food? Did their crazy uncle have some connection to the disappearance? Were they kidnapped by a random stranger? Did they simply run away? Hopefully, they are found soon.
