A video posted to YouTube claims to contain never-before-seen, recently unearthed footage of the Stephenville UFO, which spooked the Texas town in 2008 and became an ongoing, worldwide story.
The poster claims this footage was kept secret by someone who is now in bad health and wants to share it with the world. The time stamp of the video, however, shows November 2008, months after the initial sightings.
In the video, a strangely lighted, saucer-shaped craft is shown hovering in the night sky. It's impossible to tell where the video was shot, but this object does match some of the dozens of UFO sightings reported throughout the months from January to November.
Why this footage was kept secret for years, and how it will help further the story today, is not very clear. But conspiracy theories have run rampant surrounding the incident since it all began, and this video might be a way to reignite the debate.
