Liza Costello Possibly Abducted by Ex

Twenty-one-year-old Liza Costello is nine months pregnant and has been missing since last night. It's believed by her family that her estranged boyfriend, Eric Charles Davis, abducted her and is now holding her against her will. The pregnant Modesto woman even left a note before being coerced into going outside to meet the man before vanishing. It said that if she wasn't to return in five minutes, to call the police. This is a scary story that could happen to anyone who finds themselves in and out of tense relationships, and the fact that she's heavily pregnant makes this case all the more frightening.

Police have been searching for the missing woman since last night after her mother called, frantic. She had woken up in the middle of the night, finding the note her daughter had left. Seeing that she was not in the home, she had no choice but to alert the authorities. There isn't much doubt that Eric Charles Davis is aware of the search going on for him right now, so the fact that he hasn't returned Liza Costello safely where she belongs is worrisome. Those feelings of worry are made worse by the fact that he had used threatening tactics to lure her outside of her home to speak with him. He threatened to smash the windows of her home unless she came out to him—which indicates he already had violent intent.

There is a past of abuse between Davis and Costello, which is possibly why she left him in the first place. She has two children, fathered by other men, but this pregnancy is fathered by the suspect. The urgency in this case is strong, because at some point on Monday, Liza called her mother begging for help before the phone call abruptly ended. There is no telling where she is or if she is safe now. Men who are violent in their relationships are capable of doing horrendous things. Hopefully this man doesn't do the unspeakable and eventually just lets her go!
