Deanna Ballman was found dead a week ago, in the backseat of her car, in front of an abandoned farmhouse. In the beginning of this case, the home of an unidentified doctor was searched by officials, and several items of evidence were removed from the home. Now it's being reported that law enforcement officials were seen crawling the property again today. This heavy focus on the home seems suspicious, especially since the woman had responded to a Craigslist ad originating from the home.
The doctor was allegedly at the home this time, but isn't being named by sources since he hasn't been charged with a crime. The suspicion mounting against the unnamed guy may be due to the search for the woman's phone, which pinged near a body of water right by his house. Her body was found near his home as well.
While no signs of trauma were found on her body, the death of Deanna Ballman is being labeled as suspicious by police. The 23-year-old pregnant mother of two was fresh out of Colorado, where she left behind an abusive husband—who apparently isn't a suspect in this case.
