The body of Mickey Shunick has been located on a property in Evangeline Parish, bringing the end to the several-months-long search for the missing woman. There's no word on whether or not Brandon Scott Lavergne helped lead police to her remains, however, as he's been known to be uncooperative.
Details are rather thin in this latest breaking update, but the story is still developing. It would be interesting to find out the manner in which her remains were discovered. What's known is that there have been no official confirmations made by investigators in this case, but local news affiliates are reporting that the body of Mickey Shunick has been found.
Michaela "Mickey" Shunick vanished in late May, and her family and friends have tried to hold onto hope throughout this entire time. It's a bittersweet end to a missing persons search, but now the trial will begin with the body needed to put Brandon Lavergne away for the rest of his miserable life (if the body is truly hers).

One has to be at the edge of a cliff, or just real real stressed to hell in order to do crazy irrational crimes like these types of crimes.
