Conflicting clues from the Colorado Dark Knight shooting are fueling rumors that James Holmes was not the only attacker in the theater during the massacre.
It seems there are more questions than answers with this case. People shouldn't jump to any conclusions about the incident, but the prosecutors are fueling conspiracy talk by not opening the arrest file to the public. What are they hiding?
First, you have to consider the police radio transmissions, in which officers refer to an "outstanding shooter" wearing a blue-and-white plaid shirt, after they already had the crazed neuroscience student detained.
Also, there was ballistic equipment, and a second gas mask found hundreds of feet from where Holmes' car was parked. Why would he carry a second mask? And, how could he drop it so far away, then return to his vehicle before officers arrived?
In addition, there is even more conflicting evidence which challenges the official line that Holmes acted alone.
Of course, it's perfectly understandable that witnesses provided varying accounts of what happened. It was complete mayhem at the theater, it was pitch-black inside, and there was tear gas everywhere.
The moviegoers were more focused on saving themselves and their loved ones, than anything else, at the time. Hopefully, the public will one day learn the entire truth about the tragic event.
