Sikh shooter Wade Michael Page killed himself after being shot by police officers during Sunday's massacre in Wisconsin.
Does it really matter who fired the bullet which ended the life of this lunatic? As long as this psychopath is dead, that's all that truly matters.
Now, the Milwaukee community will be spared the painful ordeal of a long, drawn-out trial. Imagine being a victim, and having to see that guy's smug face every time he appears in court! Not to mention, Wisconsinites would have to foot the bill, while this monster was behind bars.
Investigators learned about the suicide through ballistics testing, and released the information Wednesday. This new information contradicts the original claim that Page died after being shot by Oak Creek Lieutenant Brian Murphy.
Regardless, the former Marine Murphy remains a hero. He took nine bullets from the gunman, and still managed to keep other people out of harm's way.
As this case proceeds, more information about the massacre, as well as the shooter's motives, will continue to be discovered. For now, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is only considering Page as a suspect, but that could always change.
