A UFO was caught on video, hovering over the London neighborhood of Camden, as a couple of blokes watch in amazement, seeing something unfamiliar to them in the busy skies over the Olympic city.
The unidentified flying object caught in the viewfinder is strange because it's not flashing, instead emitting a steady white, orb-like light. It doesn't look like conventional aircraft, which would be flashing navigational lights. And it doesn't seem to be making a sound.
The two buds at an outdoor get-together, who are taking the time to look up at the sky, can't help but be a bit stunned by the odd sight. Revellers all around seem to be enjoying what sounds like a really great party, seeming oblivious to the strange object.
The UFO just hangs there the whole time, hovering silently and moving very little from a nearly fixed position. It's possible it's a security drone, considering how nearby the site is to the Olympic games underway.
What is striking about this sighting, no matter what the object turns out to be, is the spontaneous nature of the incident, shared by two people looking up at something different in the sky which cannot be readily explained to a witness used to seeing all kinds of aircraft flying past overhead. Day or night.
Those who have experienced that moment know what it's like to acknowledge that, maybe, some things really are out of this world.
