Amber Jenkins vanished from the Silver Springs area but it's believed that her body was recently found. However, detectives are refusing to acknowledge whether or not they believe the body belongs to the missing woman. Her mother is angry -- rightfully so -- and is revealing a slew of details into the life of this young woman. It's possible that the man she was living with is responsible for her disappearance, and possibly her murder.
After the body of what may be Amber Jenkins was discovered, her boyfriend Tim Pennington vanished. His father claims to be "embarrassed" over this and doesn't know where his son is. It's evident that the man is on the run like a coward while the family of the missing woman anxiously waits on edge for a coroner's report on the body that was found. One glaring connection between him and the body found was that the woman's decomposing corpse was found in a vehicle traced to him.
This is similar to the Lynn Jackenheimer case. She was stabbed and strangled to death by her on-again-off-again boyfriend Nate Summerfield, who is still on the run even after a month of searching for him. Will Tim Pennington be as elusive as Nate Summerfield? It's not known how the woman found in Tim's SUV was killed, as there were no acknowledged signs of trauma, but this case reeks of foul play and the fact that he's on the run speaks volumes. Hopefully this case doesn't continue down the same path as the Lynn Jackenheimer murder and he turns himself into authorities -- who are seeking him.
As for the family of 26-year-old Amber, they believe she was trying to get out of an abusive relationship. The mother believes she tried to leave and he did something to her to make sure she couldn't. Unfortunately, the police in the area have her listed as someone who abandoned her daughter -- who is in custody of child services. This is just adding insult to injury for the family.
