Dog Carries Puppies From Burning Building to Safety of Firetruck—Amazing!

A dog in Chile is being called a hero after she miraculously went into a burning building repeatedly to remove her four puppies from certain death.

The pooch is named Amanda, and apparently, she knew her babies were in grave danger, so she did what any mother would do and ran to their rescue.

As the German Shepherd mix took each pup out, she placed them in the safety of a fire truck. How she knew to put them there is beyond understanding but it's amazing to think that she knew where they'd be safest.

Clutching each pup in her mouth, Amanda heroically saved all five of her puppies from burning to death. However, sadly, one later died from burns it suffered in the inferno.

The photos from the rescue are wonderful to look at as it's a blessing to see and hear about a happy story for once, especially in a media so saturated with horrible, gruesome stories.

The story of Amanda and her pups also goes to show that despite being an animal, dogs can sense danger and right from wrong. They understand more than people give them credit for and are exceptionally smart.
