A two-legged dog named London will give your spirits a boost on a drab day.
The sweet pit bull puppy fell out of a three-story window onto hot tar and was left there so long that his legs could not be saved.
When he was finally rescued, London had extensive burns on his stomach and paws from the tar and his two front legs were completely shattered beyond repair.
Instead of putting this pooch to sleep, rescuers decided to amputate his two front legs and fit him with a wheelchair. However, before a chair arrived, the happy-go-lucky dog learned to walk on two legs.
"When he fell he was pretty much stuck where he was until he eventually learned how to navigate around," said Amanda Giese, of Panda Paws, who rescued London. "He clearly had been left on hot concrete or pavement as the bottom of his paws were covered in burns. But as soon as I gave him treats, took him out onto the grass, he instantly lit up. He knew at that point there was a different journey for him - he wasn't going back to a place where he was in pain."

After the surgery, London has adapted to being a two-legged dog and is doing well, which is such a wonderful thing to see.
"He plays, he's happy, he enjoys rolling in the grass just as any able-body canine would on these hot summer days," Giese said.
London will soon be up for adoption and will hopefully find a forever home where he will be treated like any other member of the family despite his disability.
Now, go on and hug your own dog (if you've got one) because you know animals are the most loyal and persevering creatures around!
