A UFO hunter on YouTube claims to have found some unidentified flying objects on the low resolution pictures NASA is publishing, taken from the martian surface by the Curiosity rover. Are they real?
The YouTube researcher, rob19791, has a history of finding intriguing images by poring over pictures and videos provided via web feeds of the ISS and, now, the rover which just landed on Mars.
This time out he finds two different objects, but only one seems to qualify as something mysterious.

In the screenshot attached here, there is an object which appears to be hovering in the Martian sky, just over a mountainous landscape in the distance.
The UFO looks a lot like other objects mistaken for inexplicable aircraft, rounded and orb-like. In fact, it most resembles a weather balloon, which have been mistaken for unidentified flying objects countless times.
Are there weather balloons on Mars? If not, what is this thing?
The YouTuber says he will follow up on this image when (and if) the high resolution picture is published.
Stay tuned...
