Well, it looks like Jerry Sandusky will be a busy guy in prison. The former Penn State assistant coach, who was convicted in June of 45 counts of child sex abuse, is currently working on a book as he awaits sentencing. And his wife, Dottie, is helping him write it. Hm...this should be interesting.
"Sources said there has been so much paperwork exchanged between Jerry and Dottie, that Dottie has had her written correspondence privileges suspended by prison officials," Gary Sinderson reported to the Washington Post.
This isn't the first book Sandusky has written. In 2001, "Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story," a memoir about his charity work, was published. Wow, could the name be anymore ironic?
Sandusky can write anything he wants in prison, but it doesn't mean a publisher will touch it. Publishing a book by convicted molester will definitely look bad for a publishing company. Would the book sell if someone was willing to publish it? Maybe. But a publisher might not think it's worth damaging the publishing company's reputation.
Do you think Sandusky's book will get published? Would you read it?

Bear in mind that Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' is still published and read in a number of languages... regardless of how many he had killed or the misery he brought to an entire world.
Maybe it has a place in the human experience but... I personally don't see it as worthy of print.
