In the aftermath of Todd Akin's boneheaded remarks on rape, the Republican party has another reason to be embarrassed. New Hampshire candidate for sheriff, Frank Szabo, has weighed in on his plans about abortion if he is elected.

While being interviewed by a local news station, Szabo revealed he apparently has no problem persecuting doctors who perform abortions. He mentioned arresting the doctors and even using deadly force as an option to stop them from performing the procedures. He told the news station, "Deadly force is always a last resort. Why would anyone object to the use of deadly force to prevent the murder of an unborn human?"
What about the life of the mother? Could he really stand by while a mother may be suffering because of a medical condition? Does he disregard a woman's mental or physical health if a pregnancy occurs because of rape of incest?
Szabo has apologized for his comments, but is it because both Republicans and Democrats have spoken out against him? He seems to care more about pushing his morals and values on everyone else, than the law. How could you feel safe with someone like Frank Szabo in law enforcement?

"Deadly" force to prevent a "death"
To Evangelicals, the end justifies the means.
The preciousness and fragility of life, to me, means caring for others, and not slamming people or picking fights. It also means all life - including animals. Not abandoning pets - dogs, cats - any pets. Oh, my bad - most "pro lifers" only care about human life. Which leads me to wonder - when did a newly fertilized egg become a human being? But that's another argument...

I believe that is not {another} argument, that {is} the argument.
They try to justify such beliefs by twisting the meanings of recorded passages in their Biblical scripture. In reality, they only accomplish such justification in their own minds. Those who are not blinded by such religious fanaticism, know full well that nowhere in the history of mankind has such twisted beliefs been accepted as being God's decree. That is why, such taking of a physician life for administering aid to his patient, is considered to be willful murder and is guarded against under Roe -v- Wade federal law.
We, the voters of America, had better take serious note, that if we continue to elect such zealotly religious fanatics to the Halls of Congress, we will suffer consequences far beyond that which we can imagine. The results of which, will challenge our very existance as a nation of free thinking people.
