Nineteen-year-old Brittany Crenshaw is still missing, but her fiancé has been charged with murder in connection to her disappearance. Benjamin Kade Davis, 25, was booked last night just before 6:00 p.m., but the search for Brittany's remains continues. This is a tragic detail in a missing persons case that hasn't spanned that long. Bodies of water have been searched in connection to the girl's death, but relatives say the woods around their home have not been searched -- why?
As of right now, nobody in the public or the media knows how Brittany Crenshaw was murdered, but it's apparent that she was murdered by the man who reported her missing. Here on Gather News, it was speculated that his behavior wasn't to be trusted, and sadly that speculation proved to be more than correct when Benjamin was arrested just hours later.
Hopefully Brittany's remains can be located quickly before it's too late to quickly identify them. The fact that this man may have had several hours to dispose of her is just unsettling. He claimed to had gone to work the day she vanished, but is it possible that he didn't go to work at all? Is it possible that he used that time to drive away somewhere to rid himself of the remains of his girlfriend?

hom·i·cide/ˈhäməˌsīd/
Noun:
The deliberate and unlawful killing of one person by another; murder.
I'll back up Chelsea here with a direct link to Merriam-Webster's official definition of homicide.

Next time, Kathy, make sure you understand the meanings of words before you type out your little nuggets of wisdom.
What I'd like to know is why they charged the man with murder when they still don't have a body. I'd like to know where he works and if they talked to his bosses. How can they be so sure he is the one who killed her?
Facebook conversations are not credible for facts.
In the state of Mississippi there has to be reasonable proof to land a homicide charge. I.e. a confession if there is no body or signs of struggle that lend to the idea that a fatality occurred. This can be researched online, BTW. And it's far too premature to be discussing the death penalty. The sentencing stage is not what's being discussed here.
Furthermore, it is disrespectful to command someone you don't know "to pray". Would it not be disrespectful if I screamed something about atheism at you over your opinion over a crime case? Yeah, it would be. The same concept applies on the flipside.
You obviously do not know them enough to state them. Sorry.
And behaving so immaturely doesn't help in any conversation. Have a good day.
Dude was arrested for homocide...ummm hello, that means they have enough circumstantial evidence to charge him for her murder....
My 2 cents
It's not just that. You just never know. I mean, you wouldn't just assume someone is budhist, or bah'ai, wiccan, satanist. Any culture or religion. It's just rude to command that someone act in a way of your own belief, just because you're ignorant of others' cultures. (not you, but a general "you)
If I had it my way Id do away with Christmas, its over rated, and it costs way too much money.
I think the boyfriend killed her and botched her body in hopes that it would never be found. Just my opinion :)
What do you mean like what? I was just being completely honest & believe it or not its not just chelsea writing she was murdered. I
In fact, on facebook a friend of the family has in fact verified along with news sources she was passed. Its even obvious considering she's been found. Unforunately, she isn't alive & I'm sorry for that, but let's gett honest with ourselves??
This actually is civil compared to some threads I've read lol...
Oh BTW CHELSEA, OMG, lol I read a post on your blog about the hateful so called Christianity church that wrote about you on Gather stating I believe it was "god hates chelsea hoffman" or something of that nature. I was dying with all the photos of gay men etc...what's the name..I think its like West Baptist Church or something?!?!
I am sorry about your past with him. We all have jerks like that in our pasts unfortunately. It's just a shame that he turned out far worse in time :(
