Prince Harry is hardly the first royal to cause a scandal. There have been plenty of others over the years. A few of them even involved Harry's parents. Here's a look at some of the most well-known royal scandals.
When one thinks about bad-boy princes, Harry doesn't even make the top of the list. That honor goes to Prince Andrew. He supposedly even had a romp with Hollywood's Courtney Love.
Kate Middleton's cousin appears on the September cover of Playboy magazine. However, that isn't even the worst of it. She's a burlesque dancer who bares it all just for fun (and money).
While the media liked to focus on Princess Diana's conquests pre and post marriage, it's important to remember that Prince Charles was hardly faithful. He continued his involvement with Camilla Parker-Bowles while married to Diana. That means Harry's dad hardly has room to talk.
Fergie, the Duchess of York, tried to sell access to her ex for a paltry $720,000. It might have worked too if the person she was trying to sell the access to hadn't been an undercover reporter trying to get the goods on her.
King Edward VIII abdicated his throne for love. His paramour, later turned wife, was a divorced American—Wallis Simpson.
While some of the above antics would hardly cause a stir in the real world, they're considered atrocities in the world of royals. Still, on a scale of 1 to 10, Harry's naked photographs register somewhere in the middle—not at the top of all the royal scandals.
